COLA-TV

This year's California On Location Awards or as it's commonly known, the COLAs is the premiere event to honor top location professionals and production companies in stills, commercials, television, and features. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2008, 5pm Pacific at the Ritz-Carlton, Marina Del Rey. The award show will be hosted by Fred Willard. Some versions of AVG have been mistakenly identifying the Cola-TV player as a potential threat. Rest assured the program is safe and secure and virus free.

If when downloading / installing the player you get a warning dialog similar to the one below take the following steps:

By way of background, please know that your Cola-TV player is safe, secure, and virus free. Unfortunately AVG, a maker of virus protection software, erroneously included a large number of safe programs, including the Cola-TV player, in a recent release of their virus database. We have contacted AVG and they assure us that the Cola-TV player has been removed from their threat list, and our internal testing seems to support this.

Instructions

Download the COLA-TV_.exe file.
When prompted by your browser as to whether you want to run or save this file, select run.
The COLA-TV player will be placed on your desktop and will launch automatically.
Follow the onscreen prompts to register your COLA-TV Player.
Once registered, click the Channels button on your COLA-TV player and select the channel you wish to watch.
That's it! Your COLA-TV player will connect to the video feed from the channel you have chosen.

System Requirements

The COLA-TV player requires a high speed (DSL / Cable Modem) Internet connection and a computer running the Windows operating system with Windows Media 9 or above.

NOTE: As the COLA-TV player must access the Internet in order to transmit and receive audio and video data, please grant the application such access if you receive a notice from your firewall program. Failure to grant your player access to the Internet can result in the program being unable to tune to a channel and display video.
